“Sorry no Picture today”
One Line Synopsis: The zero duo try to prove their worth to their princess but only ended up looking for the true meaning of their crappy lives.
What started out to be a really good show turned out to be a run-of-the-mill anime that one can easily toss aside into the garbage. There are no memorable characters, except for maybe Siesta and his homosexual looking father. There was too much emphasis on boobs throughout the whole series that it lost its humor. The plot was not even epic or the driving force of the series. Only one person died and he only proved one message: “War is not glorious and kids should not be drafted into it.”
In fact, the whole 12 episodes mostly revolved around Louise and Saito struggling with their love relationships. Louise was practically the only one who struggled with confessing her love to Saito, whereas Siesta and Saito were very straightforward with it.
The anime as a whole was not too bad, but it was not very memorable. Fans of this series should probably give the first few episodes a watch. Other than that, there is really nothing much to miss except for some character development and periods of ambivalence.
Good for rentals and brain-dead days. Definitely warrants my NWmT tag, since there are definitely more memorable and better shows out there.
NwMT = Not Worth My Time
Forget using any other media player for your entertainment purposes, this one wins hands down. I’ve tried numerous media players and came back unsatisfied until I found this excellent piece of freeware. Apparently, this neat application can basically playback almost any media format without a hitch. Also, this program only uses the necessary internal codecs so it does not hog any more resources than it really needs to. Nonetheless, one could most likely setup this media player as a media center application.
Because this program is mostly community driven, one can expect regular updates and timely feedback. Also, there is a nice slew of incredibly great skins.
If one is still not convinced about how awesome this program is, then check freeware genius’ review that praises its glory.

For those who only want to play music, check out Foobar2000. It’s an extremely lightweight and customizable music player.
Other than that, please check out this gem and find out if it holds up to your standards.

The first episode of SnS2 is truly a nice refresher with an interesting plot up ahead. Same seiyuus and characters are back in action with a few more extra antagonist. The first half covers a dream while the second half describes Yuji’s suspicions about the future events. Honestly, nothing big really happened in this episode, but it truly reeks of Kagetsu Tohya with the protagonist reliving a dream, except that he can’t F*ck it up or prod it to get information that he did not know in the past.
After seeing the facelift in both the opening and endings (not like the previous ones were bad. They were still kickass), I am definitely going to watch this series through from start to finish.
Shakugan no Shana 2 OP
Just when I thought the creator of MyAnimeList was good enough, the person just got around to integrating a manga database for any rabid manga fan to show to the world their extravagantly long list of manga. Since I read more manga than what a typical person should read and the fact that I should be shot for being to lazy and poor to buy any of the mangaka’s works (I still believe they get a small fraction of what I pay to the vendor), this site has made an incredible feat.
Despite the site’s accomplishment, I still think a few things need to be ironed out. The whole list template is craptastic when it comes to viewing what stuff people have seen, completed, dropped, and whatnot. Although the interface for writing reviews is superb, I would like to have them enable reviewers to use pictures (not stolen of course), because that has a huge impact on whether the reader wants to follow through with the anime/manga unless the reviewer is eloquent enough to persuade even the most jaded critic out there.
As for the manga aspect, I would like the creator to at least talk with mangaupdates to use their database and information so I don’t have to tag all the manga I have. Besides, I’m going to be busy for a long while now that I have the opportunity to rip/praise/comment on all the mangas I have read. The total number of manga series I have to add to my list totals up to…. 190!!! WTF…I’ll just comment on the ones I really like or hate.
Anyway, this is probably old news for anime fans, but I just watched the full dance choreography for Haruhi no Yuutsu and it looks nice…
Haruhi no Yuutsu – Hare Hare Yukai
The first episode of this series was truly lame… If the director’s goal is to make Dante a combination of a total badass and a smartass at the same time, that person surely succeeded. Not once in the first episode did Dante get scratched. Even more dubious was the fact that he appeared at the most convenient times to unload a few caps into the demons with a little swordflinging. Indeed, the animation is superb and the gore a bit overdone, I believe this is a disappointment to a regular viewer. Therefore, the show is meant for diehard fans who are either infatuated with Dante or the storyline.
From some blog that I read, this show does remind me of Hellsing.
??????(You You Muyukai) a parody version of the anime’s Ending, staring Maria as Haruhi. Created by M@D & ZUN. Touhou Project 7 ????? ~ Perfect Cherry Blossom – ??????(You You Muyukai).
Just when I thought there were enough parodies of Haruhi, I see a Touhou version and everything becomes happy again.
Man, what’s up with you and all the cute loli anime girls? =P
