Halloweeen….There are about three things one can do on this day.
- Party and get drunk.
- Watch movies and give out candy (or rocks).
- Cosplay and trick-or-treat (yeah right).
Hopefully, option one was your first choice unless you’re a chick and had a case of roofies.
Honestly, today’s halloween is a bit dull for me. Almost every five minutes, I am interrupted by children ringing my doorbell. Indeed, this is the only day where kids get free candy, but it is definitely boring to be the person at home doing this chore. Heck, it is even worse to register for classes and go to work on this day too. From what I noticed, there are significantly less kids trafficking the neighborhoods for candy. Perhaps it is due to terrorism and cold weather, but I could have imagined that there were a lot of more kids in the 1990’s than now.
Anyway, today is a great day to have a party, watch beerfest, and get drunk (or eat a lot and gain 10 pounds). Just wait until the next day and read up on the crime section within the newspaper.
As for those weird otaku fans who love to cosplay, at least try to cosplay a character that looks somewhat decent for one’s build. Yesterday, I saw a person dressed up as Sephiroth from Final Fantasy and I must admit that I could easily kick his ass with a boot. Then there was a girl who tried to make an imitation of Kekashi from Naruto. Last time I checked, Kekashi did not have glasses or had a short stature. My friend almost mistaken her for one of those Islamic girls with the black veils.
