The most anticipated Scarlet Weather Rhapsody (SWR) has been released at Reitasai 5. There are currently 15 playable characters, along with a recent update patch. For those who are unfamiliar with SWR, it is a fighting sidescroller game with the pace of Melty Blood, but with projectiles and cutesy female humans and demons (youkai).
In comparison to the demo, the game characters seem to have a speed boost as well as more colorful attacks. Although the sprites and colored portraits were mostly rehashed from its prequel (Immaterial and MIssing Power), the menus have been revamped with new character portraits and interfaces. Also, more activation cards (~10-15cards) have been added to each character’s deck, adding innumerable hours to re-playability.
