Sennheiser HD202

After becoming fed up with using earbud and canal headphones, I decided to buy circumaural headphones. The ones I bought are the Sennheiser HD202 headphones. Although I wasn’t expecting a huge difference from the Koss Sparkplug canal headphones, they are definitely superior to earbud headphones since the music isn’thd202-01.jpg

spouting directly into the ear canal. Sennheiser did a very good job with sound insulation and bass quality, because I can crank up a heavy bass song and not have a single note leak out into the atmosphere (provided I don’t turn it up to the point that it deafens my ears).

The very cool part about these headphones is that it came with another jack (for amps?) and a cord clip to wind up its extremely long cord (10 ft ~ 3m). Also, I can wear these headphones for a long time without ear fatigue, unlike the ones that are placed within the ear. Plus, these headphones are very unlikely to fall off, which makes it ideal for working out, jogging, or any aerobic activity. The last thing I want to mention is that they’re not very big and hunky as one might think of a classic DJ headphones.

Best Place to buy them at is Newegg (for online) or Tigerdirect (for pickup). These headphones cost ~20 dolares.
